What about the changelog of TI11 update?

Good evening all. i discovered yesterday the update 8053 of TI 11.
where can i find the changelog? there is a changelog... or not?

Log in to your registered products and you will find the first time ever TI change log with any meat in it. The changes are a step in the right direction but the journey is by no means complete.

The details have also been posted in this forum as a search will reveal.

When you log into your account, it should be listed there under the update.

Last available update: build #8053, 2007-11-07.
Changes:

General

The validate archive option was disappearing in some cases from the menu.

E-mail notifications with default options are now sent correctly.

The file exclusion filter had an incorrect behavior during file backup.

Try&Decide didn't start if Acronis Secure Zone was created on a SCSI disk.

Archive comments containing special symbols ("<",">","/" etc.) are now created and stored correctly.

Events in the event log related to ignored sectors or to quotas limitations for a backup location now have proper description.

Changing settings for a task in task scheduler was sometime leading to task corruption.

Trying to restore a folder which was backed up in a full archive and then later on deleted in an incremental would lead to application failure.

Restoring a deleted IMAP account in Microsoft Outlook 2007 would lead to application failure.

The restoration of an Outlook 2007 mail archive now correctly overwrites the existing files.

The restoration of an Outlook 2007 archive now correctly restores the address book.

When creating a backup to a Backup Location, the "Create incremental backups if possible" page was missing in the wizard.

Acronis True Image home was not restoring a backup of a network share to its original location because Acronis True Image Home was not able to log onto that share.

Rescue Media

Restoring a file to a smaller free space won`t freeze the application anymore.

The Rescue Media would restart automatically when trying to view the logs.

Performing a file backup from a NTFS system partition to FAT32 no longer freeze the application if the image size is more than 4 GB.

RAID on 82801 SATA RAID Controller is now recognized and supported properly in the rescue media.

Some overall improvement were made on the RAID support for Intel platforms.

The Rescue Media can now log into a network share when using the BartPE plug-in.

Archives with size between 4 and 4.7GB are now recognized properly.

Backup Location

The automatic logon to the ftp Backup Location is now executed correctly when performing a disk backup.

The Backup operation to a Backup Location created on a network share would not be perform correctly if several Backup Location Rules like the maximum storage period or quotas allocation were used simultaneously.

The definition of quotas now works correctly with FTN Backup Location.

Acronis System Clean-Up

Files in the recycle bin are now destroyed as expected

Installation / Uninstallation / Upgrade

All the files and registry keys are now removed from the system after uninstalling Acronis True Image Home 11

I'd say that is a huge step in the right direction by Acronis.

Wow! I was one of those who was extremely critical of the old, "GUI fixes" and "Better hardware support" changelog. Congratulations to Acronis for finally getting this right. Nicely done....
