Can anyone shed a light on this:

When trying to autorun the security Update CD (feb 2004) for XP, Wormguard kicks in and displays the following warning:

"WORMGUARD SECURITY WARNING - File Execution has been BLOCKED"

(Where) Did I 'over-protect' my system? LOL

    TIA
    Slammer

P.S. Perhaps I'm not the first to encounter this, and does this thread already exist, but I got once again lost in the threads again...:doubt: :D

Hi Slammer, WormGuard should also tell you about the kind of risk and why it is blocked and you have in the bottom left a button to allow the file running anyway (if you configured that), you'll get a confirmation question and you can continue.

Hm, that's the strange thing: I don't get the usual "WG-screen", I'll take a look at my configuration right away. I only get this displayed:

"You have just execued a file that is not allowed to execute on this system. The file has been blocked from running. Please contact your system administrator for more information."

P.S. sorry, I'm having difficulties with attaching screenshots on this new platform...
