My computer has been acting weird the last day or two. Stuff wanting to access the internet where there was no need for it and yesterday afternoon a user name and password was requested to access my OE. When I typed in the password it was rejected as invalid ... Phone went kaput on me yesterday so cannot even contact my server until I get a new phone or whatever it needs to work again. Now I see my scanner smart panel keeps popping up on my screen ... This is my log, anything there that shouldn't be?? Thanks.

Log is clean. This may be all happening due to your phone connection being down.

Thank you ... that is a relief. However, I am on cable not on dialup so I can now assume that this is happening because when I tried to download a paid original greeting cards software which I later discovered was loaded with Wild Tangent to have created this scenario. I did have to re-instal my anti-virus scanner because it was corrupted [could not get any updates] and I think now I will uninstal my scanner and re-instal it to prevent it from popping up all the time on the screen. Thanks for your quick response, at least now I am pointed in the right direction. Phone hooked up today ... was a dead transformer. Got new one and phone now operational. If I still have to have a password which is rejected re mail, then that area may have been changed as well ... a phone call to my ISP after I am finished here, will correct that. :)
