    Hello All. I am very new to this forum. I have been looking for some answers for a while but still no luck.

    We usually get weekly updates (for our customer solution) and we get them every Friday. This weekend we received an extra update on Sunday and this is definitely not usual.

    Does anybody know anything about this?

    Friday's update "20110311_150012_eav32_nanos.rar":
    version=1296 (20110301)
    versionid=1296
    build=1368

    Sunday's update "20110313_084010_eav32_nanos.rar":
    version=5948 (20110312)
    versionid=5948
    build=8879

    Please help :doubt:

    Andrea

    Additional info: I tested the 2 updates a bit and it seems like installing the first one would require the second one as well in order to work.
    Then I rolled back and I tried to install the second one only and it went fine.

    So the question is...was the first one really necessary?

    Thanks!

    /AG

    Unfortunately, I assume that nobody here knows what updates you mean. The only updates distriubuted by ESET are regular updates issued several times a day, there are no weekly updates. I, for one, am not familiar with file names like "20110313_084010_eav32_nanos.rar". Needless to say that weekly updates would be of not much use as lots of malware dies out after a couple of days if not hours.
