I know i know this is going to sound off the wall but after seeing that name again it got me to thinking. Does anyone know if there is a free copy of that running around? Years ago i used it and liked it a lot, now for old times sake and just to give it another ride around the block I'd be truly grateful.. :D

    Tia..

Thank you, I'll have to check it out, I'd kind of like to get it with the antivirus as well... :)

edit* after reading it says that you can add antivirus to the trial.. ;)

O.k. i checked it out then after seeing a subscription notice i uninstalled it and phoned Webroot. This just to see if they had automatically resigned me up, the subscription read "expires 10/15/2013" The guy i talked to said there had been nothing added to my account, but why did that give a date in October 2013?? If anyone else tries this download check it out and see if you get the same result.. o_O

    Thanks..

Thanks for that but i was after the old version Spysweeper/Antivirus build just to give it another go around. Funny thing happened while it was doing a scan it caught 6 cookies and a piece of Malware named "sgrunt dialer" which according to various comments sounds like something you wouldn't want running on your machine.. :argh:

I'd like to try the new combined build it sounds like an up and comer.. ;)

All of the SpySweeper detection is already in WSA, except for the cookie detection which we intentionally removed as they actually aren't malicious.

Besides being feather light of WSA in comparison to the WSS.I remember trying one version of Spysweeper and was like a having a 300 lb boat anchor on a small aluminum boat.
