web protection time profiles

    Hi,

    Does the ESET web protection facility allow you to set time profiles for users.

    I.e. to Block access to certain websites most of the day, but allow access during lunch hours etc.

    such feature is not implemented in our current solutions.

    Do you think it would be widely-used?

    Yes it would, because it allows companies (such as ours) to let their staff use personal sites outside of working hours, such as before and after work and also during lunch hours, but lock the sites down during working hours.

    We do have a work around in place, using a vbscript on server 2003 which changes the DNS servers at certain times of day, but it is very crude, and would be better with a proper system really.

    I agree that it would be a useful feature and thus have added it to the wishlist.
