    Why would you want to consider this spyware remover? Are you limited in computer resources? Well known and very well rated spyware software [free] is Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy can be downloaded and used on demand. There are support forums here if and when needed. Something to consider. Cheers

    I wouldn't use it. But that's just me, mr. paranoid when it comes to my computer. It may actually be a legitimate online scanner, but i just don't trust an unknown online scum scanner. Perhaps someone will comment who has tried it.

    I use a scanner from ZoneAlarm for finding tracking cookies, I don't know what the more experianced members of the forum think but I would mostly use this once a day, hasn't found any tracking cookies yet. :cool:
    It downloads ActiveX file.

    judge for yourself.......that "gif" that says: "FOR A FREE SCAN CLICK HERE"...............actually is:

    <http://hop.clickbank.net/>

    would suggest you clean your computer's cookies and index

    Folks you just need to stop allowing just anybody to get inside your computers. Roman Red was much correct in asking for the advice of others.....hopefully before taking the scan..........

    I am going to recommend two very good pieces of free software that will ferret out any spyware in your computer and tracking cookies. No need to be paranoid here cuz if you read the forums here you will find the majority of us here use this software. Here are the links.

    1. Ad-Aware an excellent anti-spyware software with support right here on the Willderssecurity forums. Lavasoft also has a support forum for their software. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

    2. SpyBot Search & Destroy works well with Ad-Aware and worth considering.

    You will also receive support here at Wilderssecurity if you have any problems.

    In order to keep the software data base up-to-date, you need to check for updates regularly. A good way to find out when there is an update available is to check the UPDATES forum right here at Wilderssecurity. :cool:
