WD My Book Network Discovery

    Has anybody found a way of configuring Eset to allow the WD My Book discovery tool to work, I'm a newbe to the forum and would appreciate any help

    You can try:
    1, switching fw to learning mode so that the necessary rule is created automatically
    2, enable logging of blocked connections in the IDS section of the firewall setup, replicate the issue and then check the fw log for details about the rule that blocked the connection

    Hi thanks for the response, have tried No 1, just did No 2 and the result was "no usable rule found" then it gave a source IP address plus a target IP address which was different and the protocol was IGMP not really sure what any of that means to be honest, any thoughts
