Good Evening! Just did a Google search...and the Product is Classified as Watchdog Development...and is a Multi Engine App...and is Marketed as a Second Option App that works Harmoniously with your current Anti Virus...like WSA and Zam...etc. On the website I couldn't find any info on which Engines are being used...makes me suspicious as too why they haven't disclosed this Very Critical Info. Go to their Website and check it out...seek and you will find...just because I couldn't...Lol! Sincerely...Securon

I'd never head of it before, and could not find and screenshots of it or much information about it, so naturally I felt the need to install it. Anyway, it's a rebranded Zemana Anti-Malware.

The Watchdog website is here. https://www.watchdogdevelopment.com/en/

Good Morning! Thanks for the feedback roger m! I had a feeling it might be a rebranded product...doesn't surprise me in relation to it being Zemana, since as I mentioned that the Engines being used weren't mentioned on their Website. Sincerely...Securon

I wanted to see how much of ZAM might be in WAM, but... not gonna happen:

Why are you afraid of net-framework installs?

Some say this is a total copy of Zemana A.M, but this one needs NET.Framw.3.5 installed to function which ZAM does not. I wonder what the difference is that causes that?

Except the fact that it is way more expensive.

@pb1 Considering that Watchdog is a rebranded Zemana, I find I strange that it requires .net whereas Zemana does not. Are you sure that Zemana doesn't require .net? I install .net on all of computers, so of course I already had it installed before I installed Zemana.

The online installer needs .NET, not the program itself.

You can get the offline installer here: https://www.watchdogdevelopment.com/Watchdog.AntiMalware.Setup.exe
