    I am attempting to image servers that contain the following VSS aware databases. MYSQL and Exchange

    Issue 1. SBS 2003 w/ Echo Server build 8018, snapapi's applied.

    Unable to select and save "Enable Microsoft VSS Support" when creating a scheduled task. Always reverts back to disabled. VSS Appears to work when I run a manual job, no errors.

    Issue 2. 2003 Standard w/ Echo Server Build 8018, snapapi's applied.

    Receive the following error with VSS enabled. E00070021: Unable to create volume snapshot.

    all MS and Acronis related services are set to automatic and are started.
    Event log
    Operation with partition "0-0" was terminated.
    Details:
    <indent>Unable to create volume snapshot (0x70021)
    Tag = 0xA5695862AAF8E754
    Failed to unlock volume. (0x10C444)
    Tag = 0x14181C22EF45AE7B
    The operation completed successfully (0xFFF0)
    code = 0)
    Tag = 0xBD28FDBD64EDB8AF</indent>

    Any thoughts, Anyone?:thumbd:

    Issue2. This appears to be the same error I received until I enabled multi-volume snapshot. I'm using 2K3 R2.

    Do you mean "Disabled VSS?"

    I am having this problem as well but only when VSS support is Enabled. When disabled, it works fine.

    Setup is W2K3 R2 Storage Server 64bit with ATI Ent Server Trial installed and backing up to an IcyDock enclosure with a 750gig drive via USB 2.0.

    I am going to update the snapapi's right now and then try again.

    Just updated the snapapi's and tried a backup again with VSS enabled and it failed with an E00070021 error.

    I did enable logging when I installed the snapapi's

    Any suggestions?

    Hello all,

    Thank you for using Acronis Server Disk Backup software

    Park City, could you please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected Snapapi.log file, exact error message and the related information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
