VPNautoconnect

I'm trying to set up VPN autoconnect in LMDE, using this guide- https://help.riseup.net/en/openvpn-linux
It works as expected although I need to store the VPN .crt outside of my home directory as it's encrypted -

How to store a file outside of home ?

 

easy way is open as root or sudo user and paste file where ever you want how to do it

$ gksudo nautilus

and you get access to root in gui way

or

$gksudo nemo

what ever file manager you have in your LMDE

and from there copy paste like windows
