Funny, VS blocks VS

 

Did you pressed Hide in the right click menu?

 

Same thing, it's in task manager but systray icon is not showing...un-installing

 

Well you should be more patient . As it says in the description, is beta.

First I thought that VS isn't running, because it wasn't on my desktop, but I checked task manager and it was running, and somehow I pressed Hide and because of that I couldn't find it on desktop. So check again, maybe you did something wrong, and might not be the program fault.

 

I'm not positive it's because of un-installing VS but I received an error pop up saying "protection error 45" once I booted up after uninstalling VS has anyone heard of this?
BTW I know it's a beta, but I still get aggravated when I have to deal with programs not running right...I clicked no buttons at all VS simply wasn't showing it's tray icon once windows booted. only in task manager.

I just tried ClipXPortable with the new version, and it is working great. I didn't get a chance to try it with the old version, so VS is still blocking it after it is whitelisted, please let me know.

I made major, major changes to VS with going to 4 modes instead of 2. It took forever, but it will be well worth it, especially once we get the bugs worked out. See, before VS had 2 modes, ON and OFF. Now it has 4, so pretty much the entire engine was recoded. Once we get the bugs worked out, it should run extremely well, and we have a lot more flexibility on the features we can add.

So I am hoping that ClipXPortable is no long blocked (I didn't try the other 2 programs you mentioned yet). But please let me know!

i have appguard in lockdown in all my computers,i had defensewall in 0ne 32 system but defensewall doesnt work in 64 systems and i want to just keep one company to protect me and it is cheaper to buy 3 or more licences with 1 company than having to buy from diferent companies
another one i i am keeping my eyes is sandboxie+shadow defender combo and it is life time or appguard and either sandboxie or shadow defender,i dont know how often shadow defender is updated but i know sandboxie is very active and appguard?is appguard really life time licence?i have a life time licence but what about version 4?do we have to pay again?i meant i remeber eirik from blue ridge that it was life time licence and after he will honor us with lifetime licence (perpetual)
