Yes, that sounds right. Actually, sometimes I think you understand VS better than I do ;).

    It is fixed.

Btw, I have been training it today and I saw that my processor goes from 4%-6% to 20-30% when VS it's activated, sometimes drops to 14-18%.

I have an old processor, Intel Dual Core E 5700, 3.00 Ghz. (it's on socket 775, that old it is). Do I need to change some settings in VS?

    Later edit.

I closed everything that I could that was running in the background (steam, etc) and done a test.

    VS not running - processor = min 1% - max 4% (for 2 minutes)
    Vs running - processor = min 8% - max 14% (2 minutes)

I'm still very happy with it.

Well I put it on my PC, but then realized it seemed awfully redundant with AppGuard, so I uninstalled. I would like to request it removes itself more thoroughly, as it left behind folders in Program Files, ProgramData, and AppData. Not major but I don't like it when security programs leave leftovers.

And don't take the fact I uninstalled it so quickly as a diss; it seems like an impressive product.

    hi:

bitdefender trafficlight gives warning to voodooshield download page. I finaly receved my reply today for the giveaway and the link to download the voodooshield trial in the message is painted as dangerous by trafficlight. I will be uploading it to virustotal to get a reading of the file.

    Hi:

ok thanks. By the way for the voodooshield rep in here I have a question.

I received the response of my account has been set to my e-mail for the 1 year license giveaway.

But when I tried to registered it with my e-mail and password, I get the message that it does not exist and errors. It seems as if my account does not exist??

You really do not need both. I would just figure out which one you like the most, and use that. THank you!

Usually the CPU Utilization should be less than 1%, but if you have an older processor, or tons of processes running, it can increase a little. There is an option in VS to adjust the timer. By default, VS runs every 1 ms, which is the smallest increment on a timer. If you have an older CPU or a lot of processes running, you can increase it, and you will still be protected. The setting is called Detection Rate, and it is in Settings-Tweaks. VS will actually run better if you move the slider to the right a little on an older CPU. Thank you!

Sounds good... We don't expect for everyone to prefer VS over other products, but we hope most people do!

On the uninstall... I will add a prompt to the next version that will ask the user if they would like to remove the logs, snapshot and config file. The uninstaller should have removed the VoodooShield directory from program files. We like to leave the logs, snapshot and config file so if someone wants to uninstall VS and reinstall it, all of the preference are still there. But we will add a prompt on the next version so the user can decide. Thank you!

Hi, no, 3 hours is way too long, sorry for the inconvenience. We have not been happy with the host we are using, they are quite slow. We are either going to have our own server, or change hosts pretty soon. It could be because the server is working overtime with this 1 year free promotion. We are averaging 2 new signups per minute right now, it is going crazy. I initially was entering everything in manually, but I just could not keep up! Thank you for letting us know about this issue!
