I don't think so. Try clicking the OK button.

You don't have to make any changes, just right click the Command Line and select Edit, then press OK.

Clicking OK button will do nothing if you didn't change the command line in Edit window.

There is indeed a bug with the long commands. The edit window has minimum size of 200px and maximum is as long as the command line. I will add the maximum limit, i.e. 400px or something calculated from the screen resolution.
Also I will add that while focus is in the edit textbox, pressing Enter will do the same as OK, pressing Esc will do the same as Close button

I will add those in the next release:
    1. Make the command line windows so i can select and delete more than one command line at the same time.Either allow ctrl/shift in selecting or a selection box to the far left.
    3. Date and Time when process was added in whitelist as in user log.
    6. Enter while in cmd editing dialog should be the same as clicking ok.

    And probably this one:
    5. Access logs from right click menu of taskbar icon.

This one Is not so hard implement, but it will not be in the next release:
    2. Purge whitelist button so it finds stuff not on the pc atm and removes them.

This one I have to check if it is possible at all in the current implementation. If it requires some big changes - probably will not be implemented in the next few releases
    4. Allow more than 1 window open at the same time. Each Voodooshield window should be opened on it's own so we can check more than 1 at the same time.

It's not a problem at all to add the search box to user log. I just wasn't sure about the need for that. Will add in the next release

I am a new VoodooShield user and am running the 3.09 Beta version. My browser, 360 Extreme Explorer is not in the default Web Apps list, and as a result VoodooShield stays in Smart Mode when it's launched. I have a few questions about this.

Do you need to be using the Pro version to add a custom web browser?

As an advanced user who has difficulty getting infected even when not using any security software, should Smart mode provide adequate security for me? The reason I ask this, is that I always have 360 Extreme Explorer running, and also often install new software every day. So, no matter what I'm doing on my computer, my browser will be running, and I am thinking that I might find it annoying to have VoodooShield always on.

    Roger,
On the Web Apps tab can you double click on under where it says "Custom web browsers..."? I can't remember what's available in the free version now.

Dan has offered Wilderssecurity members a free licence at different times in this thread.

@Krusty13 I already tried that, but it doesn't work. I'm not sure if it is a limitation of free version, or a bug in the beta. I presume it's a limitation.

    Thank you Krusty13!

Hi roger_m, since you happen to install a lot of software and keep a browser running most of the time, it sounds like VS's Scan and Allow mode will work really well for you, as opposed to Smart Mode. Please try it and let us know what you think. If you want a free VS Pro license, please email me at support@voodooshield.com and I will set that up for you. Thank you!

BTW, Vlad took a quick break but will be back soon! Also, once Vlad figures out Djigi's issue, it should help me figure out how to fix the similar issue in VoodooAi.

Not yet, but it is close ;). Initially, it will just show the VoodooAi results, but once we tweak it a little more (especially with the upper and lower limits for Safe, Suspicious and Unsafe), then we will adjust the prompts to help the user decide whether to run the blocked file or not.

Scan and Allow will automatically allow items when 0 threats are detected by the 57 scan engine blacklist scan, and does not toggle from OFF to ON. Whereas Smart Mode toggles from OFF to ON depending on if a browser is running or not, and automatically either scans (no web apps running) or scans and blocks (web apps running) the file, if the blocked file is not on the whitelist.

This is an extremely good software. I am using this for the past few months and its better than any other anti executable softs like NVT EXE radar pro..Its easy to configure ( actually install and forget mode) and saves a lot of time and effort from the users end. Thanks a lot.
I have a request...can you please include http://www.slimjet.com/en/ to default browsers list?

@Djigi, sure, please email us and we will set that up for you!

@josin, thank you we appreciate that! We will probably add another batch of web apps at some point, and we can probably include slimjet.

    Thank you!

The reason is that starting January 1st 2016 Microsoft doesn't trust anymore SHA-1 signature (http://social.technet.microsoft.com...thenticode-code-signing-and-timestamping.aspx)
I will update the signing to SHA256 or something stronger

I've had this happen on one of my machines a few times now. After running PrivaZer and allowing the program to restart my machine, when it restarts VS has been turned off and I get the pop up asking if I want to enable it again. o_O

Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Similar here. Log sorts by date but not time within that date.
