    Hi

I have installed a IDE Hard drive (IDE 1, Master) into a 2003 Small Business server machine, which has a SCSI C:\ drive.
It has installed OK, but the only option offered in Disk Management is a Dynamic Volume. The SCSI is a basic Volume.
My problem is that Acronis will not allow me to set up the Secure Zone for Recovery manager on the IDE Dynamic Volume, only the SCSI Basic is offered.

Is there an answer to this problem.

    Thanks

    Hello loucypher,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

The point is that Acronis Secure Zone can be located on basic disks only (a basic disk is a physical disk without any dynamic volumes).

Please also be aware that only sever versions of Acronis True Image 8.0 support Windows dynamic disks.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.
