    Hi All,

Small Problem, I appear to have mislaid my 'Volume Control' in Accessories-Entertainment, it has also done a runner out of my Systray. o_O :(

Could some kind personage out there tell me where it went and how to get it back please.

    TIA and Regards, Cochise,

    Hi Cochise,

In the Control Panel go to Multimedia. Check the Audio tab, make sure that "Show volume control on the taskbar" is checked.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hey Cochise

On WinXP; goto Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices, and in "Volume" TAB, check "Place volume icon in the taskbar". If it’s already check, de-check and Apply and recheck and click Apply. If this feature unavailable (greyed out) you don’t have Device properly installed, check Device Manager.

As usual, you hit the nail right on the point again.

Problem appears solved, went to multimedia, Volume blanked out?.

Went to device manager...Yellow !....no driver loadedo_O So I did the driver d/l from my 98se Discypoos....clicked refresh and as we say in England "Voila" Volume back in systray. But still not showing in 'Entertainment' but I can live with that.

Cheers and Good Health and hearty congrats on your well deserved new Position Pieter. HURRAH!

    Cochise,
