VNC and ESS

    I use windows XP SP2 and install ESS with VNC server and VNC viewer , when firewall of ESS is enable I can not connect to windows XP with VNC , and I have to disable firewall

    How I can solve this problem o_O

    Have you tried switching the firewall to interactive mode and creating the appropriate rules? You can also try installing ESS v4 beta (more info here) and switch the firewall to learning mode.

    if I switch to interactive mode , I must spend many time for accept many thing.
    I want another way.

    You can either create the appropriate rules in the policy-based mode or install ESS v4 beta and switch the firewall to learning mode.
