Typical example of reducing keyboard usage :

"Press any key" will be "Say any word" or "Make any sound".

I would be very surprised if it came out in January.

That's no problem. In January M$ removes the word "BETA" and the rest will be fixed by a looong list of patches.
During Christmas and New Year all users are drunk, unable to test the speech feature. :)

Most operating systems need patching from time to time. This thread is about voice recognition however. Drunk or not. :D

M$ has changed their approach with SDL (Security Development Lifecycle) ... while patches will be inevitable, they should be greatly reduced with their new mandate.

While I dislike M$, they deserve credit for their new effort.

Sorry for continuing OT --- Let's head back on topic. ;)

Anyone see another business acquisition in MS`s future? Nuance = Dragon Naturally speaking perhaps?
