Vista service pack 1

    Hi guys Vista service pack 1 gave me the blue screen of death i have reinstalled so please can you advise what i can do to avoid this because vista wants to reload the same update automatically

    hi philby i am not getting that error message i get the blue screen of death can no longer start my machine so do i avoid installing or is there a patch or fix

    I would contact Microsoft and go thru it with their support people. Or if you bought the PC from someone like Dell or Gateway or whatever, then try talking to them first. Nobody here will have any idea what's causing it. If you can temporarily block the update somehow or just turn automatic updates off, then that might help also.
