    Hiya all

Im very sceptcial about the use of the windows Defender so I turned it off just a few mins ago. I heard it uses up many resources and in general isnt worth it.

Im not a careless internet surfer nor do I download any special content or visit special websites (my childhood is over) so i wonder if the package:

    Vista & NOD32 & Vista Firewall

is an OK protection for me. I think NOD doesnt have a very good spyware protection but dont you think thats good enough for me?

And since the last virus i have seen on my computer was back in the days when a 16 pixel man rocked the pc games scene i dont feel worried about viruses at all.

    Hello Marco .

NOD32 is good at spyware detection/cleaning.It has even a Checkmark certificate proving this. Anyway , NOD32 + Windows Firewall on Windows Vista is a good setup to protect you . With all the additional security options Vista has (such as UAC,Protected mode in IE) you are faily safe with it ;)
