Vista FD Problem

    ok im still not enjoying FD.

    74gb HD,

    snapshot is 11.47 GB (15%)

    acronis: 3gb
    rollback rx: 130mb

    whats going on?

    No Comparison. If you make a snapshot from your c: drive, the snapshot will be the same size. You can reduce a 2nd snapshot by stripping it, and use an archive off disk.

    FDISR uses more space than RBRx, because each snapshot is INDEPENDENT and contains its own Operating system.
    That's why you can install win2000pro, winXPhome, winXPpro in the same system partition [C:]. WinVISTA is for the beta version of FDISR.
    FDISR can be used as a multi-bootable system, but that is up to you.
    I only use winXPproSP2 in all snapshots, but with different settings.

    FDISR has no baseline snapshot, the primary snapshot is just another snapshot, like any other snapshot in FDISR.
    You can use snapshots in many different ways, but you have to give it time to learn how to use these snapshots.
