    You should be aware that Acronis TI 10 Build 4942 conflicts with the following driver which is supplied by Microsoft Vista:

    Unimodem Full-Duplex Audio Device Driver also known as PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver

    When I uninstalled this driver TI 10 worked fine

    Has anyone else tried TI 10.4942 on a Vista system with a dialup modem installed? Have you and seen a problem?

    Hello jgschatz,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Could you please clarify, what kind of problem have you encountered? Were there any error messages? When exactly did they appear? What exactly did they say?

    Thank you.

    Hello Eliot,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Please make sure you use the latest build (4942) of Acronis True Image 10.0 Home. To get access to updates you should first register your software.

    If updating doesn't solve the problem, please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, unpack the archive and install unpacked MSI package.

    If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

    - Replace C:\WINDOWS\system32\snapapi.dll with the one from the downloaded SnapAPI archive;
    - Reproduce the issue and collect the log file without closing any application windows (including the error message windows if there are any). The log file will be created at C:\ . The name of the log file will be snapapi [date-time].log

    Please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    Please also collect application crash dump file in the following way:
    - Reproduce the problem (application crash);
    - Do not close the "Application has stopped working" window;
    - Run Task Manager (press Ctrl-Shift-Esc buttons);
    - Go to "Processes" tab and right-click on the crashed process;
    - Select "Create Dump File" item from the menu;
    - Collect the .DMP file created;
    - Open Start->Run (or press Windows-R buttons) type "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive" string without quotes and hit Enter key
    - After that you will see a folder (or a few folders), the name of which starts with "Report"
    - Please collect Report.wer file from the last created folder
    Please note that you may add the two collected files into rar or zip archive file.

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
