Vista: Backup function

    Has anyone already testetd the option to create an systemimage?

    I have not personally, but I do know several people running the last released RC and they say it works very well. Sorry, I do not know anymore details then that.

    Works well except the compression ratio is almost 1 to 1.

    The image size is about 86/87% of the original. No way to adjust that I can see.

    Another fly in the oinment is if dual booting, it images both Vista and in my case, MCE XP which is on drive 0 - Vista is on drive 1. No way around that, MCE is on the boot drive/partition.

    On a positive note, it asks if you want to image any other drive/partition it finds - that you have a choice about.

    For a single boot user, except for the compression issue, it works well. As usual with MS, a day late - but better late than never.
