    Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post this question, but I'll give it a shot. Earlier this evening I was surfing the web and came across a site that was hacked by some Turkish hacker. I didn't get a good look at the site because I clicked out immediately but there was some strange writing, a Turkish flag and the crescent symbols on it (even in the address bar icon). My question is: By entering this site is there a security risk to my computer? I currently use a Mac and have Kaspersky anti-virus installed. The firewall is original to the mac and factory configured. Strangely the site wasn't porn related, so I'm a bit confused on why it would be hacked in the first place. Thank's for any help you can provide.

E-mail the link to newvirus(at)kaspersky.com. You're lucky if it's just a form of propaganda hack.

    +1.

That sounds like your regular run-off-the-mill defacement, nothing more. Plus you're running Mac, usually exploits are targeted against Windows users.
