I am considering using Viscosity for OpenVPN connections with Mac OS X rather than Tunnelblick. Looks like the Viscosity UI is a lot nicer. However, one thing I like about Tunnelblick is that there is an option for a sound to be generated to alert you to when the connection has been established and when an unexpected disconnect occurs. I don't think this is available with Viscosity.

Anyone who has used Viscosity know if a sound alert is available with it?

Viscosity can run AppleScript scripts before connect/on connect/on disconnect per tunnel. It also sends connect/disconnect events to Growl if you have it installed which can issue audio and visual alerts.
