VirusTotal reliable for APKs?

    Hi all,

    the title says it all: Is VirusTotal reliable for APKs?

    Background of the question is that I simply dont know how progressed the Virus Scanners of APKs are and whether they are already so well developed like Windows Virusscanners...?

    I keep using VT for APKs downloaded for example from XDA developers.

    If you midlessly install apps of unknown source no antivirus will help you.

    USA still the best. But barely.
    As long as it's a long time XDA member I say you're safe.
