virus

Son was using Windows messenger last night while i was out and i got a phone call from him saying we had a virus.All his mates told him they had been sent an attachment from him.
I had been using mcafee artemis ,which is free for me.No warnings at all.
I uninstalled and put on Avira paid and it found 10 virus
'TR/Crypt.PEPM.Gen' [trojan]
'TR/Downloader.Gen' [trojan] was found.
I deleted these but now i get a box flash for a second in the left of the screen
I also get a warning windows auto updates are turned off
When i try to enable it says it cant
Run a scan with Malwarebytes and it has found 30 more
Trojan .vundo.h and Backdoor bot mainly

 

let malwarebytes do it`s thing....

 

It did ,after using it all is well.I can now update.Read some posts against it but it cleared up all the mess that Avira couldnt
