My Norton Antivirus detected a virus while i was browsing through the internet.
There's a popup indicating a file was infected with a virus but access to the file was denied.
I clicked OK den proceeded to the folder where the file was in.
Tried scanning the file but it wasnt infected. ?_?
I performed a full system scan in SafeMode but doesnt detect anything.
Here is the log of my Norton Antivirus 2002
    Date: 3/13/2005, Time: 19:47:18, home on LIM-RF899QSA07N
    The file
    C:\Documents and Settings\home\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\file\Dummy.class-6054d906-3311ede4.class
is infected with the Trojan.ByteVerify virus.
Access to the file was denied.

    Date: 3/13/2005, Time: 19:47:20, home on LIM-RF899QSA07N
    The file
    C:\Documents and Settings\home\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\file\VerifierBug.class-2b57a11c-6d36c1f0.class
is infected with the Trojan.ByteVerify virus.
    Unable to repair this file.

later on in the night, when my sister was using the PC, she accepted a file from her friend who was infected. The Norton Antivirus Popup appeared once again (after the transfer was halfway thru) but access was denied. Performed a full system scan and doesnt detect anything.
    The Log:
    Date: 3/14/2005, Time: 0:08:40, home on LIM-RF899QSA07N
    The file
    C:\DOCUME~1\home\LOCALS~1\Temp\TFRB3.tmp
is infected with the W32.Serflog.A virus.
Access to the file was denied.

Now I am worried whether the Virus is still in my PC.

    Help will be apprieciated :)

looks like norton stopped you from opening the virus, so your computer was probably never infected. try trend micro's free online scan and see if it detects anything. never hurts to have a second opinion.
