I loaded the latest version of Business Edition (w/RA) on our server today. Then I updated my desktop version and now get "virus signature database could not be updated" when trying to update from the server. The 2.7 clients are updating ok when I look at the RAC, but my 3.0.650.0 version is not. Any thoughts as I would like to get my clients updated to the latest version also.

    Thanks,

    Tim

You'll need to set up 2 mirrors. One for updating v2 clients and the other for v3.

When a similar thing happened to me I needed to go in to the remote admin console, disable the mirror functionality, delete all the files out from the mirror directory, then re-enable the mirror and do a manual update the rebuild it. The clients started updating again after that.

e: That is assuming you are running separate RACs for both versions.
