    Hi,
I downloaded spywareblaster and when I tried to install it Mcafee caught a virus W32/Gaobot.worm.gen.e
    Does somebody knows about that?

It is just a false positive that came in the last mcafee dat updates. It should be fixed in the next def release.

I too recently tried to install "Spyware Blaster" and the W32/gaobot virus came along for the ride. McAfee detected and deleted it but because it resides in the install file, I am not able to complete the installation of "Spyware Blaster"! What should I do? Any suggestionso_O

reinstall spywareblaster. mcafee deleted part of your sb install file. there is no virus in SB. be sure to get the latest update from mcafee before reinstall of sb I heard mcafee fixed the problem in the latest update.
