My mom was surfing on the web and she came across a local news channel website and bam nod 32 picked up the virus on the webpage.

She saw the eye of nod 32 come up but i wasnt there to see it because i was in the shower at the time. So i dont know what to do. I found the virus in threat log but i dont know how to put it in the quarantine and get it off my PC.

Im a noob to nod 32 and i heard it was the best, but man its hard understanding what to do with detected garbage with this program im completely lost.

So pls im in a hurry to get rid of this so any help pls.

I don't think you should panik. The entry in the threat log should be able to tell you what action was taken. If it says 'deleted' that's the end of it (the virus has been deleted). Can you attach an image of the threat log?

I have no idea how to do that. But i know for sure there was no action taken. When the nod eye came up and im guessing it was asking to do an action she just panic'd and shut the whole PC off.

An under threat log it even says no action taken.

Imon picked it up. Threat is STEALTH.POLY.CRYPT something.
