You're not blind; Panda hasn't participated in any VB100 tests for a long time.

    Surprising, indeed.
    Any explanation for Panda's absence?
I fully agree with you! :thumb:
    A simple Vendor/Percentage (%)-Table would have made things easier...

    That's correct,

I would love to know why they don't participate in the VB tests.

No EAM either, the usual top players there (Trustport, G-Data etc.)

"Products that entered only one of the comparatives used to generate the chart (or for which only one set of results are counted due to false positives in other tests) are marked in RED - this indicates that the score may be considered less reliable an indicator of detection capability than those for whom an average of measures across several tests are available."

I wonder why Kingsoft is so behind... It seems to have better detection while using KPD.

CIS score is rather low compared to bare AV's like that of Avira or Avast.
Also, KIS scores lower than KAV, both reactive and proactive, go figure.
Any VB subscribers here who can shed some light on VB testing routines and which versions have been tested?

edit; I see KAV is in red so perhaps the result is simply less reliable.

It's quite interesting to see that testing organizations still give credit to Lavasoft, considering this company was bought by Solaria Fund.

If I owned a testing organization, I'd never test such security company. I wouldn't care about past owners; I'd care about the new owners reputation only.

    :ouch:

the information given in the Kingsoft forum is not correct.

    1. it is Kingsoft which submitted the product to be tested to VirusBulletin. If they submitted to VB an old version (and Kingsoft knows that VB is the only one which tests currently without cloud and without updating; but this will change in 2012), it is Kingsoft fault. See procedures here: http://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/about/100procedure.xml
For more information, VirusBulletin test reports can be purchased here: http://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/archive/list

    2. It is also wrong that AV-C tests without internet connection (except one test where it is done due to the test scope) and that it was Kingsoft which did not want to be included in our tests. They were dropped by us for various reasons.
