I've written a tutorial explaining how to resolve the issue with black screen in Ubuntu-based virtual machines after installing VirtualBox Guest Additions, including 3D acceleration, X11 and Wayland tweaks, login manager and session tweaks, manual recovery, Guest Additions from repos and ISO, glxinfo utility, and more. Have fun. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/virtualbox-3d-accel-black-screen.html Cheers, Mrk
Mrk, can you make a step-by-step tutorial howto setup headless VirtualBox on the VPS ? That is, client connect to remote VirtualBox instance running on rented VPS and client side just get's the processed result. Little bit like old dump terminal (except with GUI of course) of the old days. What Im especially interested to know is, if it's somehow possible to host several remote headless VBox instances on a single VPS and each client will be then connected to specific one
