Good Evening! Malexous...this isn't directed at you...but being an ex Vipre user all of the proposed features...too me are features that have a zero impact on the improvement of Vipre. Another Toobar...Facebook...protection...and smoother install...what happened to improving the Vipre engine...improving the bugginess with the Firewall...utilization of Digital Fingerprinting and working to reduce the scanning times...especially in Deep Scan and Custom scan settings. Anyhow GFI has to provide in my eyes meaningful improvements...not superficial ones. Sincerely...Securon

 

Sadly this has been the story of the development for some years now. Oh boy, remember the good old trustworthy Kerio firewall. Had so much excitement for the vipre scanner and firewall kombined, but turned out medicore at best And as you say - rare to se engine updates which is mostly needed.
