Video out.

    An ancient Fuji lifebook a-6120, video out stopped working, with Win10

    can I use: usb to vga & get video out from the laptop?

    I'm guessing you can, but I have no expereince with these adapters. I did a quick look online and you can get USB 2.0 to VGA adapters for about $10.

    Thanks Roger! I tried 'driver booster' found 4 drivers & updated, that windows did not see. That did not work!

    VGA cable to back of laptop (video out) other end to stand alone monitor. No signal! Win10 something to turn on?

    Just seconds before typing 'above', I turned the monitor off, after typing above, on another machine googled, said something about 'windows key + P', went back over, turned the monitor back on. Now it works!

    I'm amazed!

    driver booster found two drivers that may have fixed: fuji system, & realtek audi video controller.

    Excuse me whilst I do my 'happy dance'

    You shouldn't have to do anything to enalbe video output. Can you open Device Manager and tell me the model of the video card?
