hi, can you help me pick the correct drivers to download, please?

i've got the NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS.

i was going to get this -
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.31.html

but, when i click on Products Supported, it goes to this page -
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/91.31_winxp_32_supported.html

it mentions everything but the card i have  do you think they made a mistake?

where can i get some drivers from? thanks.

    should i get this?

Are you sure you mean "GS" and not "GT"? I see lots of refrences in Google for GT. Are these for Win XP or are they for your Linux install?
Edit As far as your card not being listed, that usually means that there is native support built in to the OS.

yeap, it's definately GS. here's a picture showing it

the last link in the first post says it supports it. i think the drivers i'm using are from MS atm, is that what you mean by native support?

i'm still using windows. when i setup the old computer with Ubuntu still on it that's when i'll install Ubuntu again and copy over the files i need.

Good luck with the betas. Let us know how they work. Side note. Not sure if you use Process Guard. If you do there is a thread about Nvidia drivers and PG problems(?). Just thought I would let you know just in case.

no, i don't use PG atm.

i installed the drivers and there are more options in the graphics Control Panel now, so i suppose it's an improvement. maybe i'll get a game :D
