Very Strange Thing....

I havent gotten fully around at trying to do the suggested fix-it instructions for the about blank hijack that has taken over my homepage yet.

I am sure the instructions I was given here will work.

I started this new thread, because of something else.

In my music folder (size 22megs) it just didnt seem as though I had downloaded that much music.

I open it up, and highlight all the mp3, and they total around 10 megs.

So, I assume something is fishy, and try to delete it, figuring I can download the music again if I have to.

It wont delete because "someone is using files there".

I dont have any media player going. There arent any windows open. I havent listened to an mp3 in a month.

I restart my computer, and before I do anything else, I delete the music folder to norton protected recycle bin sucessfully.

What gives? *shrug*

I restarted my computer, and deleting the folder with a mystery amount of memory seems to have gotten ride of the about blank problem. I did have to return my ie/tools/internet options back to msn of course.

But no more about blank and the computer is way faster now too.

I'll post another thread if the problem returns.
