I'M VERY ANGRY WITH ESET!!!!!

I sent tons of samples to ESET every day, and in the last time, no reply from ESET and also they doesn't add detection. Those are worms, trojans, etc. that aren't corrupted and work perfectly. I'm not rquesting that ESET send me a extensive analyze of each sample, only a simple e-mail that confirm that they has received my samples successfully. I feel frustrated when ESET doesn't reply. I collect virus and I feel that I'm loosing my time.
    What happend?

Dazed and confused- Keep the faith. Have you ever dealt with some of these other companies?
As we say in Texas, we are in tall cotton here. And that's good.

NSCLEAN is GREAT WITH SUPPORT. Everytime I send them files they reply about 6 hours later with answer and they are covered either on the same day or the next. Also Kevin provided me with a nice pieace of software for which I am very greatefull and all of this just for providing him and Nancy with some new strains.

Now that's Customer Service! I realize that NOD32 has a fine product. I just want to ensure they haven't forgotton how they got there. As we used to say in Texas, hopefully their not getting too big for their britches. ;)

If they get too big for their britches, people will move on to other products.
    Pure and simple.
I think they are suffering growing pains.
I am sure they read this forum and am confident they will address the issues.
    :D

    Hello,
Anton, also give me the product, so this make me happy ;)
The problem is that I collect malware and the virus analyzer doesn't reply, or add detection for sample within 2 weeks.
We're trying to make a excellent product, NOD is excellent, however it need to enhance its signatures, however if the viruses analyzers doesn't have time to reply to the clients, it will never happen.
I understand that ESET add detection for ITW malware more quickly, but overlook other type of malware is bad. I only requesting that every time that I sent a sample, they reply me: Confirmed. Indeed I write a e-mail to one of the guy and they started to do this, however now he simply doesn't reply me.

Sir_Carew I too have sent in samples and heard nothing. I am quite sure that those samples are looked at by the programmers.
I appreciate what you do from a personal stand point.
We are just going to have to hang in there.
I used to use Version one of Nod and they never seemed to update. It worried me so much that I moved on. Seems different now. They are adding definitions at a much higher rate now.
It's getting better for us Nod users.
    :)

Hi All, I cannot answer for NOD32 but I do know that all the AV & AT companies are inundated with work on the recent explosion of malware, hence the time to reply.

Would you also post your samples to submit@diamondcs.com.au

    Thanks. Pilli

the Norton SARC Robot isn't always the fastest to respond, but he usually does talk back to me eventually {{~Grinz~}} .. his answers may not make much sense sometimes but he rarely eats my samples without replying .. hehehe ..

I want NOD32 and other AV/AT companies that I use and like to have the newest strains I find so I sent it to them. I don't care if they reply to me or not as long as the strains are added within the next couple of days. With NOD32 I noticed that sometimes (esp trojans) it takes them a week or two to add the defs.
The companies which are on my mailing list are:
    Bitdefender, Nsclean, Nod32, TDS-3, CA

I think that NOD32 is a excellent project. I also think that the future of the antivirus is the heuristic. We need proactively detection for sample, and NOD is the AV that has the better heuristic. Hueristic is more important than signature.
