Interesting, but with no incremental/differential, I saw nothing that makes it any better then Macrium Free which has a known reliability factor.

It says 'Free'. Do you think that it will stay 'Free'?

runs at start-up. no backup verification. took twice as long to backup compared to ADI. boot disk is nice. no option to backup full disks without having external backup drive present, cant even full disk image between different disks without ext hdd present. will wait for program to mature before fully deciding but as of now i don't like the route they are taking.

I couldn´t even try it. The password they sent me didn´t work. Also, I received several advertising e-mails in a few hours. Just blocked them, no more Veeam for me.

    Hello guys,

I work for Veeam and wanted you join your discussions just to help understand the product better. Will try to summaries all existing questions in the thread to this post:

Its current functionality scope will remain freeforever. No jokes.

That is not correct. There is one predefined backup mode – forever incremental.

I’d love to test it and share the fair result (while backing up on the same conditions). Is this ADI free? Where I can download it?

It depends on the type of the backup you selected. If you backup entire computer – yes, you can’t due that fact that such volume is in the backup source. If we allow such configurations users will end up with the increments lager than full backups.

However, if you want to backup you OS volume to the any other local volume – that is not prohibited as a part of volume level backup mode (or file level backup mode).

Robin, I am sorry to hear that. Actually, we predicted some problems with the email delivery (we had almost 18.000 registrants), so is the next stage of the BETA– no more invites, just go to http://go.veeam.com/endpoint enter your email address and get it. I hope you like it.

Guys I am awaiting for your replies or any other questions, feedback or issues - don’t forget we are giving away SIX Surface 3 tablets!

    Cheers,
    Dima.

obviously backing up the WHOLE computer cant be done without an external disk but i just want to backup a WHOLE disk. not individual partitions within a disk but a whole disk. i would have thought of this to be a basic feature in most imaging programs.

also, you never commented on the startup issue. will this program run at startup for the foreseeable future? if so this will make me never use the software again and i am sure there are others like me. a simple choice in the options would negate such things.

    backup verification in the pipeline?
