VBoxManage Linux guest on Linux host. Resolve DNS

    In the guest Several sites could not be accessed due to domain names not being resolved.
    To remedy this I saw that I could apply a VBoxManage modify command to use the hosts dns resolver as follows:

    VBoxManage modifyvm "VM Name" --natdnshostresolver1 on

    That worked, but is it OK security-wise ? I have no idea.

    Why not just configure a third-party DNS server in the guest?
