V4 and "maximal protection not ensured" (pop3 http)

    hi

    i just format my computer and installed a new vista 32 bit, then i install nod32 V4

    but there is a message tell me the maximal protection isn't ensured this message say exactly:

    "the analysis of protocol application won't work"

    1 error come at start of service the analysis of application protocole (pop3 http) won't work

    i think i need to start a service or something ? can u help me please ? my icons is red :(

    Hello,

    I think we have to pay attention with this event. I noticed, since previous releases (3.0.672 /684 and now v4.0.x) that sometimes, when upgrading virus definition, it could happen that NOD32 kernel did not restart successfully...

    To my mind, this is a "dangerous" vulnerability and a potentiel exploit...

    I'm currently aware of the next occurence (on my PCs) with ESET v4, to analyse deeply this phenomen...
