Just switched from v2.7 to v3.0
    Finding V3.0 to be slower.
Choosing an “In Depth Scan” in v3.0, it scanned 245,000 objects in 49 min.
Choosing an “In Depth Scan” in v2.7, it scanned 375,000 objects in 54 min.
So in v3.0 it had a rate of 5000 objects per minute.
In v2.7 it had a rate of 6900 objects per minute.
All on 1 hard drive…”C”….nothing added, nothing removed.
Also noticed the log did not list all that was checked on the “C” drive tree. One thing that stands out missing from the v3.0 logs is $ISR, which is not a small object, but it shows up in the v2.7 logs.
    Nicer interface, though.
    Any comments on this?

    Hello,

I had bugs with the version 3.0.669 so the version 2.7 is back on my computer.

About your problem with the log, it is one of the bug that I had with v.3.
The speed of the scanning was also slower (when not stopped during minutes) with v.3. In your case, I think that the speed seems to be correct due to the fact that v.3 is more sophisticated.

May I ask you if you encountered any difficulties with Windows Mail, like messages about a decompacting problem when receiving mails ?

No, I haven't. But this is only about day 3 with v3.0
I don't get much mail and any spam is extremely rare.
I've never seen anything about decompacting.
