Using Online Armor free with Threatfire or Winpatrol

    Hello

    I was adviced to use Threatfire or Winpatrol along with NOD32.


    I am also using Online Armor Free, which has a HIPS feature.

    So would I need to install another HIPS software or is the HIPS feature of Online Armor free enough ?

    I am also runnning MalwareBytes Full verision.

    More than enough, although winpatrol is a neat tool that doesn't use many resources.

    WinPatrol does not have any conflicts afaik, so you can try it.

    Guys, i did try Winpatrol and I really like the program delay startup feature :)

    OA Free has a fully functional classical HIPS that monitors the process activities shown in the attachment. It gives popups for untrusted processes that do any of these things unless you give permissions. It is supported by a database of trusted and untrusted programs (OASIS) that helps you decide what to do about these popups. What else would you need in a HIPS that OA doesn't supply?

    Yes, and for this reason im sticking with the following setup:


    1). NOD32 4.2
    2). MalwareBytes Pro (RealTime)
    3). Online Armor Free
    4). WinPatrol

    I also have full version of SuperAntispyware, but i hardly use it, it seems to bug around with NOD32.
