using ESS to scan file transfers on windows live messenger

    is this feature supported, or it is the same as windows live mail, and is a future addition?

    I already read that, but the option to scan files is not listed anywhere.

    the file transfer option is not under it's own section in WLM 2011, it's located under "history" with no other section to locate to the "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\ecls.exe" file.

    I'm sure you realise that your AV is still scanning files as they are saved on your drive no matter what prog. Maybe MS decided there is no need for special file scan setting in WLM 2011
