using dns

    i want to try open dns but heres what i want to ask.i have a laptop and enter opendns settings into my wireless network adapter.does any wireless network that i pick up on use these dns settings?for instance i go to a hotel and use there wireless internet does my laptop use my dns settings?

    Yes. As long as you entered the IP addresses of the DNS servers under IP v4/Properties you will use them everywhere. They only change when you have checked "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
