tl;dr - You can disable auto login in Chrome, or you can use Chromium. Or in some cases, Firefox or whatever. Although some Google stuff only works with Chrome. Such as their 2FA service.

Yes I decided to go with FF some time ago. Still, it's too bad that they decided to do this...

This automatic login happened to me a few days ago in Chrome on Ubuntu. I think it logged me into Chrome after I logged into Gmail. But so far, here in Win 7, it hasn't happened. I don't like it either.

No need, just logoff from Google services first then delete all. It's always the best to logoff first from any service. Disabling "account-consistency" flag may also allow you to delete truly all cookies but haven't confirmed it, tho I've been disabled the flag for a time, since I always logoff as soon as I finished the work for any service.

Google (and some other) never understand why some ppl are not willing to get "convenience" they offer.:thumbd:

The next version of Chrome will include an option to stop automatic sign-ins to the browser
