If I'm using Firefox or Opera (still use both, I'm torn) is Spyware Blaster still worth using? And how about Spyware Guard?

Spywareblaster works with mozilla firefox and IE. It is not needed with Opera.
    excerpt below from Javacools Faqs.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(SpywareBlaster does not offer protection for Opera at this time. Since Opera does not support ActiveX, malware isn't as big an issue with the Opera browser.

Note: Many programs use Internet Explorer as a default browser. So even if you use Opera all of the time, SpywareBlaster will protect you when Internet Explorer is opened as a default browser.)

Mozilla/Firefox dont support ActiveX either, so why does SpywareBlaster offer protection for it?

You will have to ask Javacool about that.

In future versions there may be that addition according to past Javacool posts and if you so wish you can add that thought as others have concerning the same issue to the SpywareBlaster 3.x Suggestions / Wishlist thread.
