    Thanks, @mood,
It made me realize that although version 1.0.8 was released August 27, 2021, the latest build is from October 20, 2022.
I'm not sure why the version number wasn't updated when there was a new build.
Something for me to take into account when checking for new builds.

New USBImager Linux X11 versions with embedded Unifont were added,
Linux PC X11 uf (with embedded Unifont, +512K),
and X11 wo uf (simplified interface with embedded Unifont, +512K).

This because of an issue in which the (no uf) X11 version only shows boxes (or nothing) instead of text. This isn't an USBImager issue, but rather an X11 fontconfig problem. This is remedied in the newly added X11 uf versions with embedded Unifont.

Hi @EASTER and thanks to all. I haven't tried USBImager on an image yet but it looks good. I love simple functional utiilities.

    Same for me.
I use balenaEtcher AppImage, but it is good there are alternatives like USBImager. I keep a USBImager Linux X11 uf, and a Linux GTK+ for in case I need it.
