    USB Drive Letter Manager

I've been using it since June last year and in the course of those months, there's been an issue that concerns me a bit.

Sometimes the message that pops up when a USB keyboard is attached, pops ups again with a different HwID.

    For example:
    I got one ID: DeviceID9=HID\VID_1A2C&PID_2C27&MI_00\7&32A143D5&0&0000
then a month later i.e. today, a message popped up with
    this ID: HID\VID_1A2C&PID_2C27&MI_00\7&32A143D5&0&0000

It's the same machine, same OS, same USBDLM installation, the first ID on first installation is saved properly in its ini file.
I didn't removed the keyboard or moved the keyboard to a different port.
It just came out of nowhere. Obviously, when the message pops up, my actual keyboard gets neutralized/disabled unless I click Yes with the mouse.

This is not the first situation, on another laptop before I bought this new one, same issue happened there. On this laptop W7, issue happened several times with different IDs.

After restarting the machine, the keyboard's ID has really changed.
At least this is what UsbDriveInfo.exe says.

Don't know whether Shadow Defender got something to do with it.
    SD is always realtime.

I don't have this problem. In NotePad++ press Ctrl+F and type in search fild word BadUsb, you should find parameter BadUsbWatchKbd=0 which disables your message. Examples are in USBDLM_sample.ini and USBDLM_sample_full.ini.

You can also try with USBDeview by Nirsoft to find the keyboard driver and uninstall it, the next time you connect the keyboard driver will be installed automatically. Or clear the computer of all installed USB device drivers using USBOblivion.
If you let the author of the program know the address of this thread, perhaps he will participate in it.

    Thanks @aldist

I was looking deeper into this
then I notice in Device Manager that keyboard's ID effectively had changed.
    Weird, at least for me.
It seems the OS changes the ID, don't know if something in the keyboard firmware changes or it's just Windows.
    Confusing for me.
