Yep, this app kicks tail sweeping off the USB connection devices history. I like it and use it as another part of keeping the system free of that leftover debris.

Hi I was holding off reporting because the "fix" is too new but here goes. At least 3 of my computers don't like USB 3.0 devices. I get the message that I need to format the drive. This includes external drives as well as flash drives. The message is bunk and I have convinced my self that they are fine. I have tried my best to search thru Google with no result since Google doesn't seem to understand what I am asking. Well, yesterday I ran USB Oblivion and no longer get that message. If anyone has any comments, I would appreciate them.
usboblivion-1.12.1.0 Ran this the other day on someones Vista PC. On rebooting the desktop came up with a black background, & there was a message in the right lower corner saying. "This computer is not activated" Well it has been for years ! Tried several System Restores with no success. Also tried a REG trick to no avail ! What actually worked was, using BleachBitPortable to do a thorough clean. Previous versions i used didn't screw things up, so it might be just this one ? CAUTION
ISSUE: BE ADVISED!! On Windows 8.1 (perhaps other versions) USB Oblivion if CLOSE EXPLORER is checked in SIMULATE mode, the GUI is active but will not reload. I had to manually BROWSE to the FOLDER where I keep PC Hacker and START EXPLORER. IMHO this program might be helpful if they included a simple RESTART of explorer instead of just close.
